Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
  • Canadian Securities Course.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Global Client reporting products and services.
  • Good written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work effectively in team and cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understands the strategic plans of the BDS Clients and Custody team accounts in order to support for transaction settlements.
  • Understands the culture and characteristics of the BDS Clients we service to successfully manage their expectations.
  • Manages relationships with both internal operational units and Clients in order to attract and retain our Clients’ business.
  • Ensures all agreed upon service level agreements are respected and complied with.
  • Ensure that issues that are validated that the resolutions are executed within the SLS.
  • Success is measured by positive Client satisfaction.
  • Daily reconciliation of asset and/or cash breaks with follow up until resolved.
  • Monitoring discrepancy reports and rotation on end of day balancing.
  • Mitigates risk by complying with all policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all daily deliverables are met in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensures Desk Operating Procedures captures all unique processes.
  • Follows escalation protocols.
