Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of related M&A work experience; supported by an active CPA certification or in the process of obtaining one
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication skills both internally and externally, promoting active listening and consistently following up on open action items appropriately
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts
  • Operational consulting or project management experience
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization
  • Public accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
  • The desire to be a long-term contributor to a dynamic team

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple work streams at any given time
  • Process mapping and reengineering to bring recommended solutions to the table
  • Creating and presenting data analysis including benchmarks and opportunities for improvement
  • Participating in management discussions regarding business performance
  • Identifying and supporting the realization of operational synergies in the merger integration phases
  • Supporting clients to inform and shape the integration roadmap, including changes required to the operating model to support the long-term business strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial modeling skills a plus
  • A proven record of excellence in data analysis and visualization
