Training Specialist Revenue Cycle – Refunds/Cash

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Business or related field, or Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in adult education or healthcare revenue cycle with demonstrated training skills
• Exceptionally strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail
• Ability to effectively present conclusions and recommendations in front of groups
• Effective critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), or similar products
• Demonstrated teaching skills that promote learner involvement
• Innovative coaching and counseling skills when dealing with education and development issues

Responsibilities

• Provides classroom instruction to new and existing team members on a variety of revenue cycle topics
• Presents information using a variety of instructional techniques to meet educational objectives and regulatory compliance requirements
• Provides other types of training beyond the typical classroom setting
• Provides onsite or virtual go-live support to revenue cycle team members during implementations
• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training activities and the progress of learners
• Maintains a high level of revenue cycle knowledge to provide support to existing revenue cycle team members
• Stays up-to-date with all changes to training materials and on industry and educational best practices
• Provides support to Quality & Systems and Workflow Optimization teams through process validation and testing
• May assist HIT project teams in the testing and training of new applications
