Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and designing training materials for financial advisors or related roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants across various learning platforms.
  • Experience in assessing training needs and tailoring programs to address specific knowledge gaps, skill development and change management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve training modules and materials for advisor programs.
  • Conduct annual review of training materials including onboarding programs, job aids and short educational videos.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up to date.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
  • Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, communications, and resource allocation.
  • Stay abreast of trends and best practices in training and adult learning to incorporate innovative methods.
  • Monitor shared inbox for incoming requests and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, or consultations with managers.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate advisor training and development into broader organizational strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they adhere to established timelines, budgets and performance standards.
  • Engage with leadership and external partners to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on business priorities.
  • Support team members in preparing for in person and virtual training initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of relevant industry accreditations will be considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in French considered an asset.
