Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 14+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience (OR Associate’s Degree with 12+ years experience OR Baccalaureate Degree with 10+ years experience)
- Experience with Medtronic Medical Education processes and systems
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of ad promo items in Med Review and Veeva
- Drive the design and analysis of ROME (return on medical education) metrics for core Medical education programs and fellows activities
- Create a strategic quarterly communication plan to report Medical Education course attendance to sales leadership and medical education engagement strategy
- Create a strategic quarterly medical education engagement strategy
- Support and PM Educational Summits and Leaders Forums
- Support Medical Education content development and integration of new products into course materials
- Motivate, influence and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives. Anticipate, identify and resolve high-level problems associated with completing projects and executing programs
- Collaborate with cross functional groups to execute education programs, curricula, course materials and assessments that align with business unit strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality systems and Business Conduct Standards
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
- Ensures all activities are compliant with Quality System requirements
- Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Industry experience preferred
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated to make recommendations and initiate assignments that will improve business processes
- Flexible work hours to support Medical Education and Sales Training, which may include evenings, nights, and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
