Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineering Registration in TX or through reciprocity from other State
- Experience working on DOT Projects
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in traffic engineering
- A track record of adhering to project budgets and project schedules
- Must be proficient in roadway design principles including DOT design standards and AASHTO design manual
Responsibilities
- Perform design calculations, and assist with design development
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items
- Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
- Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned
- Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager
