Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working in a tooling, manufacturing or fabrication environment
- 1+ years of experience with CNC machining in a production environment
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling, such as large and small engineering test fixtures, fabrication equipment, etc. in collaboration with engineering design teams
- Utilize CNC equipment to fabricate or modify various components (Mazak mill, Mazak lathe)
- Utilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components (Examples: Bridgeport Mill, Marvel saw, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)
- Other responsibilities to include: 3D Model Interrogation, Blueprint Reading, Tooling Inspection, Laser Tracking
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree and/or trade school certificate and/or equivalent military experience
- 1+ years of experience as a machine operator, writing and editing CNC programs
- Experience in CAD/CAM software
- Experience working with Mastercam
- Experience operating manual mill and manual lathe machines
- Experience using inspection tools (e.g., Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, CMMs, Laser Trackers, Portable Arms, Optical Comparators, etc.)
