Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and work closely with TMS Manager and Clinician team.
  • Administers TMS to patients under supervision of MD psychiatrist.
  • Collect and documents of vital signs, height, weight etc.
  • Room patients from lobby to TMS or outpatient room.
  • Ensure that all procedures and documentation comply with Compass Policy.
  • Assist with Joint Commission audits, planning and preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient, family, and client facility staff.
  • Support Manager with monthly chart audits to monitor quality and performance measures in accordance with standards of care.
  • Support Manager in quality, safety, & risk committees that support on-site practices.
  • Provide supplementary assistance with infection control and prevention measures
  • Support Manager in Medication, medical supply, and equipment inventory for program.
  • Collaborate with Manager in initiating and managing Prior Authorizations for TMS
  • Support all patients in practice, assist with rescheduling, communication and follow up to patients lost to treatment.
  • Participate in daily team huddle to review scheduled patients, cancellations, time to next available appointment, clinically relevant information for patients that day/week and of concern, announcements, etc.
  • Participate in professional development activities
  • All other duties within the scope of training as assigned.
  • Consults with: Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Program Directors, TMS Manager and Nurses and Administrative Staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification (preferred)
  • Experience in mental health care (preferred)
