Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management program components (TPRM Lifecycle, KPIs/KPIs, control activities)
- Ability to build relationships with individuals at various levels of the firm
- Strong presentation skills, including aggregation, organization, and presentation of data in a clear and concise manner, tailored to the audience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to interact positively and clearly communicate with all levels of staff and management
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum Required: 5+ years’ experience in a risk related field and 3 + years’ direct work experience in a Third-Party Risk Management program
Responsibilities
- Collect and conduct risk assessments for new and existing third parties, identifying issues and gaps in controls, and documenting remediation activities to determine residual risk
- Oversee the third-party vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, ongoing due diligence and termination/off-boarding
- Ensure that relevant stakeholders follow the TPRM program policy and procedures and assist in resolving vendor-related issues
- Prepare accurate and insightful KPI/KRI metrics on third-party risk activities for various levels of stakeholders within the Firm
- Participate in the maintenance of the TPRM tools including data validation and testing
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the TPRM tool including areas such as inherent risk and due diligence questionnaires, monitoring and remediation capabilities, contract management, among others
- Assist with updating training materials for stakeholders, as required
- Assist with documenting TPRM program processes and communicating updates to TPRM team and relevant stakeholders
- Assist with monitoring regulatory changes affecting TPRM practices and supporting process improvements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Business Owners and TPRM Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Assist with internal and external audit inquiries related to TPRM
- Assist with ad-hoc ERM projects, as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Any certification in Third Party Risk Management and/or Information Security is a plus
