Textile Laboratory Manager

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role within the textile or fashion industry
• Extensive knowledge of dyeing, fabric manufacturing, and textile testing
• Excellent management and leadership skills, capable of directing and developing teams
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Willingness to travel internationally, particularly to Nicaragua, to oversee lab operations
• Strong collaborative and influential skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand lab capabilities for advanced textile testing
• Oversee the Lab team and Fabric Product Integrity Team, setting and monitoring key performance indicators
• Review and approve all fabric ASNs in FDM4 to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Manage and oversee the daily workload at lab facilities, ensuring efficient prioritization and timely completion of testing
• Direct the Fabric Product Integrity team at our cutting facilities
• Work closely with the Raw Materials Color team to influence and enhance fabric development, focusing on color fidelity and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with the Raw Materials team to address and resolve fabric-related manufacturing issues
• Ensure consistent quality and operational standards across both local and international lab setups, including regular monitoring and evaluation of our lab in Nicaragua
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality
