Requirements
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in an engineering field
- 0-3 years experience in engineering within CPG industry preferred
- Experience with any of the following: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, scripting including Python
- Ability to clearly document testing expectations to US and China resources
- Strong ability to manage multiple activities at the same time
- Willingness to learn how to use new lab equipment
- A basic understanding of statistical methods
- Clear written communication especially in documenting the work you’ve done
- Competency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Responsibilities
- Own all testing activities for your assigned products
- Create test plans and ensure they are complete and contain enough details related to protocols, data to be collected, and pass/fail criteria
- Coordinate testing needs with both US and China-based test team resources
- Be a hands-on contributor in designing, setting up, and executing product tests
- Identify and help implement opportunities to automate product testing
- Create test protocols to ensure we are testing effectively and efficiently
- Perform black box testing on your products to ensure proper consumer user experience
- Organize and report your results to Test Team management and product teams
- Order materials and equipment needed to perform testing
- Learn how to use new test equipment and document test protocols
Preferred Qualifications
