Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of related professional experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Strong Understanding of Software Testing Principles: Familiarity with various testing methodologies and techniques (e.g., manual, regression, performance, integration)
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) to write test scripts and frameworks
- Experience with Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, etc.
- Knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks: Understanding of different frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Robot Framework)
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and diagnose software issues, as well as analyze test results
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with developers, other testers, and stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, script, and automate test scenarios that simulate cyber attacks on virtualized network environments
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks that assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity tools (e.g., IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR, SIEM)
- Integrate custom traffic generators and adversarial behaviors into test workflows to evaluate tool performance and coverage
- Analyze test results to identify coverage gaps, false positives/negatives, and system weaknesses
- Work closely with system developers, network engineers, and cyber professionals to refine and improve testing methodologies
- Explore and evaluate new technologies for test automation tools and techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, ORMs, RESTful APIs
