Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences industry.
- Consistent track record in developing new business and handling sophisticated accounts.
- Experience selling into reference labs, medical centers, and clinical labs is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Genomics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows is a strong plus.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Comfortable with extensive travel (up to 80%) within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently, remain focused in the field, and adapt to varied customer environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Agilent’s Cancer Diagnostic and Genomics products, including automated workflow solutions, to clinical labs, hospitals, reference centers, and research institutions.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed territory revenue targets and performance goals.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities while maintaining and rapidly growing existing customer accounts.
- Regularly engage with Pathologists, Administrators, Technicians, and Purchasing Agents to present value-based solutions.
- Prepare and deliver professional product presentations, technical demonstrations, and business reviews.
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, ensuring post-sales support and customer happiness.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, market analysis, and customer feedback to internal teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer needs and resolve issues.
- Represent Agilent at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into reference labs, medical centers, and clinical labs is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Genomics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows is a strong plus.
