Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or client management—preferably in the hospitality, restaurant, or technology sector.
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business in a field-based role.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a “hunter” sales mentality and ability to work independently.
- Must live in the Charlotte, NC area and be available for daily travel throughout the territory.
- Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Responsibilities
- Grow New Business: Identify, engage, and close new restaurant clients in the local market through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking.
- Territory Coverage: Conduct regular in-person meetings with prospects across the Charlotte area to generate leads and move deals forward.
- Consultative Selling: Understand prospect needs and pain points, and propose NCR Voyix solutions that deliver measurable ROI and value.
- Opportunity Management: Track all sales activity, forecasting, and opportunity stages using Salesforce.com.
- Pipeline Development: Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities that support monthly and quarterly goals.
- Collaborate Internally: Partner with solution engineers, account managers, and implementation teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sales through onboarding.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends and competitor offerings to better position NCR Voyix in the sales process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience selling restaurant technology solutions (POS systems, payment platforms, kitchen operations tools, etc.).
- Experience working in or selling to the hospitality industry.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with small business owners and decision-makers.
