Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience implementing security capabilities such as identity access management, cloud security policy, security baselines, key management and firewall
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud adoption, enablement, or technical consulting roles within technology organizations
  • 5+ years of strong understanding of multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, OpenShift) and hands-on experience with cloud-native development
  • 5+ years of experience with Hashicorp Terraform, Sentinel and Vault
  • 5+ years of proven expertise in solutions architecture and cloud onboarding processes
  • 8+ years of excellent communication skills with a focus on clear documentation and cross-functional collaboration
  • 5+ years of strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting and providing actionable insights from complex data sets
  • 4+ years of Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
  • Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
  • Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
  • Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
  • Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
  • Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
  • Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
  • Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and modern CI/CD tooling
  • Demonstrated experience in technical project management or program management related to cloud initiatives
  • Leading change in a large corporate technology environment with a focus on cloud function
  • Experience in collaborating and partnering with other key parts of the organization and drive towards shared goals and success
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
