Requirements
- Knowledge of suppliers such as Poly, Crestron, and Cisco.
- Familiarity with video conferencing technologies (Teams, Zoom).
- 5+ years of experience as an audiovisual technician.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Interest in exploring new technologies related to the field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
- Autonomy and initiative.
- Bilingual (French and English)
Responsibilities
- Collaborates in the submission process and installation of audiovisual and video conferencing equipment.
- Handles the integration and setup of video conferencing rooms (monitors, sound systems, stage lighting, cameras, video conferencing units, etc.), including integrating them into the necessary IT network for optimal operation.
- Acts as the liaison with suppliers, analyzes bid requests, and ensures their validity.
- Works closely with internal partners and collaborates effectively.
- Ensures the application of update patches and performs preventive maintenance on equipment within the department to ensure optimal service.
- Stays up to date with market developments, trends, and technological advancements in audiovisual systems.
- Contributes to various deployment projects that involve expertise in the audiovisual field.
- Manages and provides technical support for corporate events and assists senior management (audiovisual component).
- Responds to support requests related to his/her area of expertise.
- Provides user training and support.
