Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Former military with 5+ years’ experience
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for writing the current and future operational environments to support assessments and capability developers designing the future force.
  • Serve as a concept writer understanding State and Non-state actor threats for near-term and deep future wargames.
  • Serve as a Concept Writer to identify and evaluate the impact of emerging trends and technologies on the operational environment.
  • Serves as futures expert for threat cyber and electronic warfare capabilities
  • Conduct research and studies to define the scope and context of the OE.
  • In coordination with the OEE and the IC, identify threats to U.S. national interests. Conduct research and studies to describe these future threat strategies, doctrine, and capabilities.
  • Provide OE and threat expertise to write the current OE and assist in presentation of the OE.
  • Assist in writing plans, force organizations, equipment and capabilities projected into the timeframe specified for a future warfighting event.
  • Provide review and comments of Army, Other Service Joint, and Department of Defense concepts, manuals, regulations, and other documents as requested. Staff comments across the OEE.
  • Develop written and oral products on OE and threat related topics as directed by the customer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with ACE-level operations or Intel Community production preferred
  • Acquisition DAWIA certification level II preferred
  • Understanding of DOTMLPF-P, Army experimentation, and TEMP/T&E
