Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or Technical Communication.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience.
- Experience in writing documentation for government contracts, procurement, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with the DoD and other federal agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation management tools.
- Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), or other relevant guidelines.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and edit technical documents, including proposals, reports, manuals, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations, procurement guidelines, and contract requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and compliance officers to gather technical information.
- Translate complex data into accessible content for diverse audiences, including government officials and contractors.
- Maintain document version control and ensure consistency across multiple projects.
- Research and incorporate regulatory changes, ensuring documents remain compliant with federal standards.
- Support proposal development, responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and other solicitation documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of contract writing software and government databases.
- Prior experience with technical proposal writing in a government contracting environment.
