Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience and minimum of six (6) years’ experience in oil & gas industry (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in oil & gas industry (for Technical Specialist III)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in field operations/construction or other technical specialty field (preferred for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty (preferred for Technical Specialist III)
  • Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs moderately difficult assignments to ensure system integrity, support pipeline operations, maintain compliance and maintain facility equipment (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Troubleshoots/resolves sophisticated problems using technical evaluation, innovation and judgment (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Develops, presents and trains internal and external partners; may mentor others (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Participates in project planning and works closely with company partners (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Leads development and tasks associated with operations, equipment maintenance, technical standards and/or governmental requirements (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements (for Technical Specialist Sr)
  • Performs moderately sophisticated technical assignments that ensure system integrity, compliance, facility equipment maintenance, and pipeline operations support (for Technical Specialist III)
  • Participates in project planning and collaborates with company partners to guarantee accurate and available data (for Technical Specialist III)
  • Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements (for Technical Specialist III)
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures (for Technical Specialist III)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in field operations/construction or other technical specialty field (preferred for Technical Specialist Sr)
