Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Provide software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and communicate to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
- Work with Software Engineers, QA, Product Managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (e.g., build, test, and release on time).
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues, and communicate them to project stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead several technical programs for the Google Cloud Business, set priorities for products and engineering, lead cross-functional teams to take products to market, and ensure success metrics are informing future efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working across a distributed and integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
- Experience in SQL and scripting.
