Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in hardware engineering, systems engineering, and technical product/program management.
- Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery, with an understanding of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
- Experience working across multiple organizations, demonstrating critical thinking and thought leadership.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.
- Experience in organizing and coordinating work, establishing relationships across multidisciplinary teams and partners across different time zones.
- Experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving for large-scale systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical program management for next-generation Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hardware Systems within Meta Infrastructure, operating in a matrix organization spanning multiple domains, including Hardware Engineering, Data Center, Network, Infrastructure Engineering, Software Engineering, and Capacity Management.
- Own the overall program success, overseeing the end-to-end development of the hardware product. This includes servers, modules, chassis, and subsystems, spanning both internal and external development efforts, ensuring successful integration into Meta’s infrastructure and support for production workloads at scale.
- Develop and oversee the entire program, including defining scope, requirements, priorities, development models and strategies, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Influence product decisions to ensure they align with broader company initiatives.
- Define and track key metrics, quality indicators, and performance metrics while driving cross-functional execution of program deliverables.
- Provide hands-on program management throughout the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
- Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively convey program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Perform risk assessment, implement risk mitigation strategies, and manage change effectively.
- Manage and oversee vendor engagement, ensuring timely and successful delivery of services and products.
- Lead and implement internal process improvements across various teams and functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, and critical infrastructure challenges in collaboration with engineering leaders and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hardware systems design.
- Experience with data center architecture and deployment, including design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale infrastructure systems.
- Experience working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and other vendors, including managing relationships, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring quality and timeline alignment across the supply chain.
- Experience in a start-up environment, with a focus on technical infrastructure management, where flexibility and rapid execution are key to scaling systems and handling growth-related challenges.
