Requirements
- Hands-on experience working in broadcast or related digital operations
- Clear understanding of control room operations as related to broadcast television
- Knowledge of digital streaming and the latest technology in that field, as well as digital media technologies, including content management
- Working knowledge of TriCaster software and production switching equipment is a definite plus
- Current, relevant experience with digital video compression/encoding techniques, and transmission
- IT skills or general knowledge computers and networking equipment
- Understanding of video standards and transport protocols
- Problem solver

- Varied hours that include all dayparts, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to adjust work schedule on an as-needed basis
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot digital and IP broadcast platforms including stream encoders, cloud video systems, cameras, routers, switchers (primarily NewTek TriCaster platform), graphics generation, microwave, transmission and associated terminal equipment
- Assist Technical Operations Manager in establishing and enforcing workflows that support LiveNOW’s mission
- Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary
