Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in automotive control system or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience in automotive control systems.
- 5+ years of experience in developing controls algorithms and Autocode Generation in Matlab/Simulink environment.
- 5+ years of experience in communication tools such as CANape and CANoe.
- Proficiency in IM, PMSM, BLDC motors controls and algorithms.
- Project Experience in vehicle dynamics control software development, calibration and acceptance testing.
Responsibilities
- Control software development and algorithm modeling in MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded C environment.
- Develop advanced motor controls algorithms for both actuation systems and primary drive E-Machines.
- Support the development of Inverter and E-Machines – investigating and improving NVH, efficiency and performance related issues.
- Implementing functional safety requirements in Motor control software.
- Support the E-Motor system testing and performance characteristics mapping in dyno or test bed.
- Responsible for motor control software run time efficiency and software reliability.
- Develop and maintain software requirements, testing requirements compliant to ASPICE standards.
- Collaborate with electronics and software teams to align hardware and low-level software with control requirements.
- Using Development ECU tools for rapid application software prototyping and integration testing.
- Responsible for application software architecture design and compliant to Autosar architecture standard.
- Establish software testing environment including MIL, HIL and in vehicle testing.
- Support software integration with target ECU.
- Develop the software algorithm for vehicle dynamics control through torque split strategy, utilize tools such as CARSim, Carmaker or Simcape to evaluate/validate vehicle control algorithm performance.
- Lead the calibration development and validation of control algorithms and diagnostics to meet vehicle performance and customer requirements.
- Serve as the technical lead for control systems on assigned programs and act as AAM’s global expert in vehicle dynamics or device controls.
- Demonstrated expertise in control systems theory and real-world application.
