Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or hybrid BA/QA role.
- Ability to read and interpret .NET (C#) code and application logic.
- Strong experience with manual testing, requirements validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Proficient with SQL and database query tools (e.g., SQL Server Management Studio).
- Hands-on experience with issue tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
- Analyze existing .NET code to understand system behavior, validate functionality, and support troubleshooting.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Design and execute test cases for functional, integration, and UAT testing.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with developers to identify resolutions.
- Query relational databases using SQL to validate data and troubleshoot issues.
- Support API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Maintain test documentation, requirements traceability matrices, and impact analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support automation strategy and execution in collaboration with QA or SDET teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java, Kafka, or enterprise messaging systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or RestAssured.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Experience in modernization initiatives, especially transitioning from monolithic to microservices architecture.
