Requirements
- Extensive experience rigging characters in Maya or Control Rig
- A portfolio demonstrating rigging for a range of characters, bipeds, and creatures
- Familiarity with the Unreal Engine’s Control Rig
- Exceptional problem-solving ability with strong written communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with AAA game development, preferably on a large team using an established game engine (internal or commercial), ideally with Unreal Engine
- Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, a drive to learn more and improve skills, and the ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Rig characters, creatures, and other assets in Control Rig as well as Maya
- Set up assets in Unreal Engine 5, including physics and animation blueprints
- Work closely with animators, character artists, asset implementers, and other technical artists to ensure a smooth delivery of high-quality assets
Preferred Qualifications
- Python programming experience is a plus
