Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
- 5+ years of experience leading post-sales teams with a demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and manage technical teams.
- Experience supporting or partnering with public sector and/or education customers, and understanding how to tailor engagement approaches to their specific operational and compliance environments.
- Experience leading complex implementations of Generative AI/traditional ML solutions and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Effective presenter and communicator who can translate business and technical topics to all audiences, including senior leaders.
- Ability to own problems end-to-end and willingness to pick up whatever knowledge you’re missing to get the job done.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and operating model of the Public Sector EM team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and the evolving needs of our customers.
- Ensure the team is equipped to support and inspire customers in regulated sectors like government and education, navigating unique procurement models, compliance considerations, and deployment timelines.
- Serve as a player-coach by directly owning select customer engagements, modeling best-in-class delivery and strengthening executive relationships.
- Lead, build, and mentor a team of high-performing Engagement Managers to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, as demonstrated by production customer deployments, increased adoption, expansion revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a technical escalation point during implementation, fostering trust and maintaining direct communication with internal and external executive-level stakeholders.
- Represent the voice of the customer by synthesizing feedback and identifying recurring themes to influence product development and strategic planning.
