Requirements
- Level 2 General Insurance License
- 5+ years of progressive commercial insurance experience, with exposure to complex accounts and mid-market clients
- Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring or managing high-performing teams
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving results and supporting change initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Office 365 and industry software (e.g., Applied Epic, CSR24, Indio) is an asset
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Lines service team, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to service standards
- Develop and coach team members in technical insurance knowledge, client service, and professional growth
- Monitor KPIs including renewal timelines, retention rates, and revenue targets; implement corrective actions when needed
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration within the team
- Act as a point of escalation for complex client matters and internal challenges
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning for commercial service staff
- Partner with producers and senior leadership to ensure client expectations are exceeded and branch goals are met
