Requirements
- Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences or related discipline.
- If vacancies remain, fourth year (honours) standing students in Health Sciences or related discipline will be considered.
- Applicants must have completed this course within the last three years.
- The successful applicant must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students and provide constructive feedback, be punctual in attending classes, and be able to meet appropriate deadlines.
- Experience or training with synchronous and asynchronous course support.
- Experience with online delivery tools and learning management systems (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.) is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom time (including preparation of seminar material, student consultation, marking or grading, examination proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other course administration as may be required.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading seminars is an asset.
- Experience with online delivery tools and learning management systems (MS Teams, Brightspace, Lifesize, etc.) is an asset.
