Requirements
- minimum 8 years+ experience either working in a high-growth e-commerce/online company OR HR Business Partner level in an established global tech/fashion company
- strong understanding of CA and NY employment law
- extensive experience with employee relations, investigations and company grievances
- ability to build rapport and relationships, with specific experience gaining the buy-in of senior management and stakeholders
- excellent communication skills
- confident managing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development
- ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
- leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- experience working as part of an International team and with multiple territories would be a distinct advantage
Responsibilities
- Oversee full spectrum of people operational duties including but not limited to people business partnering, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, office management and employee relations for North America region (US & Canada)
- Be the business partner for Stadium Goods and support the Functional PBPs on region specific people activity by partnering together to build strategic HR plans that support the delivery of company’s business objectives
- Provide coaching and guidance to all US managers in all relevant people management issues, ensuring the best people strategies and value-adding service are provided to attract, develop, motivate, and retain the talents in the function
- Ensure Farfetch operates in line with all current US employment legislation
- Implement guidelines, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Central team
- Manage all employee relations cases which may arise, working effectively with Managers and key stakeholders to deliver desired improvement and results
- Implement global L&D initiatives in the US; identify training areas that need attention, deliver local training in person where required and in partnership with the global Talent team continue to improve our development offering
- Ensure all staff receive quality appraisals, and that training needs are identified
- Using results of our annual employee survey, identify areas of improvement and lead on the action plan for improvement for the US region, gaining buy in from key stakeholders
- Contribute and support the in-house Talent Acquisition team to ensure we attract, hire and retain the best talent
- Work with central teams on the management of the US HR budget and regular reporting tools
- Work closely with the People Operations team to oversee and support administrative activities including payroll, benefits and HR system management
