Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years years of relevant experience
- 2 years of progressive full life cycle corporate recruiting experience, with recruiting in a high-volume environment preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking system(s) is a significant asset – Workday experience is a plus
- Experience or knowledge of the Utility industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an ability to communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal and external customers
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
- Strong customer service, organizational and planning skills with a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- You will manage full life-cycle recruitment, to include setting of the search strategy, pre-screening, interviewing and presenting qualified candidates to hiring teams, negotiating offers, and facilitating the hiring and on-boarding processes.
- Communicate consistently and openly with hiring managers, Human Resource Business Partners and candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a quality experience for all.
- Focus on building a great candidate and hiring manager experience during the recruitment process.
- Source and screen talent through passive and active candidate channels including job postings, social media, networking, internet research, and cold calling.
- Conduct candidate screening interviews to “Profile candidates and gauge motivation” to assess and ensure they are a fit to the Essential culture.
- Assist with the interview process as needed, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
