Requirements
- Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM)
- Optical Engineering
- Passive Optical Networks
- 10 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- Demonstrated experience providing optical service
- Demonstrated experience with Dense Wave Division Multiplexer design and implementation
- Demonstrated experience with legacy optical carrier equipment, Synchronize Optical Network
- Demonstrated experience with data communications networks to manage devices
- Demonstrated experience in optical engineering
- Demonstrated experience with fiber optic systems
- Demonstrated experience in the field of optics and network integration
- Demonstrated experience using the Agile software development methodology
- Demonstrated experience producing reports and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or SharePoint
- Demonstrated experience with HTML and browser compatibility baselines
- Demonstrated customer service skills responding to senior level requests

Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working both independently and on teams with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated experience exhibiting skills and capabilities with Sponsor computer systems to produce ad hoc reports on project activity and Project Schedules for consumption by senior management
- Demonstrated experience exhibiting oral and written communication skills across multiple customer communication needs: writing reports, meeting minutes, point papers, memos, and briefings
- Demonstrated experience coordinating between the Sponsor and Sponsor’s partners and responding to all clients from the new-hire technician to high level staff and all in-between, for all customers who subscribe to the network
