Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Microsoft Certified Professional Program, Cisco Network certification, or any other approved information technology certification.
- Able to work multiple projects with limited supervision, and ability to diagnose and resolve network issues in a busy environment.
- Ability to manage, prioritize and execute multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions and work with customer in providing resolution.
- Must be a self-starter and work with a clear and defined mission.
- Proven ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, and contractors across the customer base.
- BA/BS and four (4) years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 6 years.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, and configuring Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers.
- Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades.
- Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations.
- Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission.
- Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software.
- Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies.
