Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Ground Systems development on a government contract
- Experience conducting system engineering requirements development
- Experience decomposing and communicating system requirements
- Experience working projects, and/or programs consisting of Ground-related SE, SW development, and IV&V functions
- Experience with Agile principles, to include Agile systems engineering practices and understanding of Agile roles
Responsibilities
- Support a team of systems engineers in accomplishment of requirements traceability, capability definition, and system architecture modeling in an iterative development environment
- Apply scientific and mathematical knowledge when performing engineering tasks
- Review the outputs of systems modeling and analysis, ensuring the results can be used for the intended purpose
- Support and attend technical inspection reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program as the systems architect
- Active and transferrable TS/SCI U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting system engineering that interface with external entities
- Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Domain
- Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions and strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Experience with Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.)
- Experience with modeling resources and methodologies (Cameo)
- Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements databases
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
