Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant educational credential
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering in the automotive field or similar
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to requirements and testing of electrical components
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a dynamic team environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and document vehicle power distribution and communications architectures
- Write requirements and test plans for subsystems and components
- Engage with suppliers to identify components for sourcing
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into vehicle designs, considering safety and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software and digital communication specifications and requirements is a plus
- Experience with hands-on device testing is a plus
- Experience with high voltage devices is a plus
