Requirements
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science)
- DoD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M.IAT Level II Certification
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (must obtain a CI Poly within 6 months of start date) (US Citizenship required)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and configure Linux-based systems to meet specific project requirements.
- Implement and manage VMware virtualization environments, including vSphere and ESXi.
- Perform Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) hardening on systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and diagrams.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to implement and maintain infrastructure solutions.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
- Maintain and improve existing automation scripts for system administration.
- Gain and maintain a strong understanding of network principles
