Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 8-12 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering
- TS clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI
- A mix of software, networking, and hardware experience
- Familiarity with working in a SIL
- Experience with CAMEO/MagicDraw/Rhapsody, etc.
- Experience with MBSE and Digital Engineering Environments
Responsibilities
- Responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products.
- These solutions or products typically encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines and may require hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
- Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
- Building up OpenVPX ruggedized chassis with SBCs, Network switches, etc generally aligned to the SOSA standards.
- Additional equipment will include encryption devices, multi-level security switches, cross domain solutions, and modems.
