Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly required.
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Security+ certification (or equivalent certification for DoD 8140 compliance) required at hire or ability to obtain within three months of hire (training and certification costs covered).
- 2+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration, including Windows Active Directory, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and/or Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or specific IT certifications may substitute for some work experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Technical proficiency with desktop/server virtualization and familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure preferred).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on IT support to end users and remotely as needed, fostering strong relationships and personalized service.
- Deploy, operate, and maintain multi-user computer systems and associated applications, ensuring seamless functionality and availability.
- Independently research and troubleshoot complex technical issues, escalating and coordinating solutions with IT engineers and software developers when necessary.
- Manage system security administration, including account creation, user permissions, client endpoint installation (desktops, thin clients, printers), and troubleshooting policies.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions clearly within our ticketing system to enhance team knowledge and streamline future problem resolution.
- Support the ongoing migration and operation of services into cloud environments (AWS and Azure), gaining valuable cloud experience.
- Author, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent and effective IT operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure preferred).
