- 3 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline (May substitute experience for education)
- DoD 8140 compliance required. (CompTIA Security+)
- Active Top Secret security clearance (must have a T5 or T5R investigation within the last 5 years)
- Highly motivated, self-starter with great communications skills; effective problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
Responsibilities
- Configuring and maintaining complex Active Directory forests and domains across a intricate network with over 10,000 users and 20,000 Active Directory objects.
- Working within a bastion forest solution to provide comprehensive security and management across multiple Active Directory forests.
- Continually monitoring the environment to ensure best practices and Federal guidelines are being followed.
- Creating advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting the health of Active Directory components.
- Recording problem symptoms and status information in a timely fashion and communicating internally within IT and externally with the customer through problem resolution.
- Conducting complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed.
- Monitoring, backup, and restoration procedures for Active Directory.
- Documenting new system components, or modifications to existing components.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions.
- Participating in on-call rotation (as required) for emergency technical support and planned maintenance activities.
- Performing research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems.
- Presenting clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-8 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity
