Requirements
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with writing and executing scripts, including Bash, Python, or Java
- Experience with system and network administration
- Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting anomalies on operational systems during real time processing and resolving issues
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology and 15+ years of experience with systems administration, or 20+ years of experience with systems administration in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities
- Perform systems administration responsibilities, including configuration, deployment, and management of RedHat-based operating systems and STN and STE hardening
- Review and provide updates to System Security Plans
- Manage IT system infrastructure virtualization, physical servers, and switches
- Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
- Identify new opportunities to modernize the network
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of strong communication skills, to interact with customers, troubleshoot issues and address requirements
