Requirements
- 5 + years of related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
- Required Technical Skills: Data Analysis, Dashboards and Reporting, Data Models, Systems Monitoring
- US Citizenship Required
- Required Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, and Teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor network devices, servers, and communication links using network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
- Proactively identify network performance issues, bottlenecks, and anomalies.
- Monitor system logs, error messages, and alerts to detect potential problems.
- Develop, maintain, and provision operational reports and dashboards that provide status of operational activities, production issues and key operational metrics
- Identifies the means to streamline business processes, reduce costs, and improve organizational efficiency.
- Work closely with other IT teams, including system administrators, security engineers, and help desk staff.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding network issues and status updates.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and monitoring processes.
