Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 6 years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification or equivalent
- Current/Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility is required
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning
- Management of IT security systems and applications
- Incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions
- Conducting risk and vulnerability assessments
- Developing and implementing security controls
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Systems Administration – Knowledge of Windows, Linux, scripting (Powershell, Bash). HPC knowledge a plus
- Some Network Administration of Cisco and Juniper products
- ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification
- ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification
- MCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security Certification
