Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
- 8 years of experience in customer/product support, project/program management, general business management, sustainment operations and or strategic planning is required with a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years with an advanced degree
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Drive integration of cost assessment activities and approaches across F135 production, development, and sustainment programs.
- Establish and track affordability targets and catalyze generation of new cost reduction opportunities.
- Plan and lead strategic sustainment affordability initiatives to address F135 program affordability objectives.
- Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate sustainment affordability vision, plans, targets, and status.
- Manage or perform business case analysis of potential sustainment affordability projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management, general business management and/or strategic planning experience
- Financial analysis or business case experience on major initiatives
- Achieved or pursuing an Advanced degree in business.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of propulsion life cycle cost
- Familiarity with gas turbine maintenance activities and concepts
