Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with program integration and logistics planning of Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware systems
- 5+ years of experience with DoD Acquisition Program Management, Acquisition Planning, Sustainment Infrastructure, and Organizational Planning
- Experience with acquisition management support, including developing and coordinating briefings
- Knowledge of the execution processes unique to the sustainment and logistics organization
- Knowledge of Justification and Authorization (JA), Interim Contractor Support (ICS), or organic support attributes
- Ability to demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and control contractual, financial, and technical aspects of a project or program through designated phases of the acquisition cycle
- Develop the management and acquisition strategy for assigned projects or programs within cost, schedule, and performance baselines as directed by the Program Director
- Organize, direct, and coordinate activities of functional specialists, including contracting, engineering, manufacturing, program control, configuration or data management, testing, and logistics
- Create and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to obtain concurrence and deliver meaningful acquisition support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Generation OPIR, FORGE, STSS, HBTSS, DMSP, WSF-M, and EWS
- Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.87 and the Software Acquisition Pathway
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to lead IPTs, WGs, PSRs, PMR, and other Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
- PMP Certification
