Requirements
- Current enrollment in an accredited surgical technology program and entering the last semester of the ST program (please include expected graduation date on your resume)
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain before start date) a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Perform basic surgical patient care activities under the supervision of a Surgical Technologist such as prepping, draping, setting up a sterile field, maintaining aseptic technique, managing specimens, pulling cases, and advocating for patients
- Time management skills with room turnover, setting up rooms for the next day, and stocking supplies to meet the needs of the day
- Thrives in a team environment
