Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in electronic technology / management discipline or equivalent or 5 + years relevant technical experience.
  • Experience managing / leading a team.
  • Practical experience and ability to solve complex problems requiring preventative maintenance techniques, equipment, and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, activities & deadlines successfully.
  • Strong leadership skills biased toward communications, employee development, management-by-objectives and building relationships across organizations.
  • Familiarity with LEAN and Six Sigma concepts to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Have experience operating / maintaining / troubleshooting / repairing / calibrating measurement and test equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily calibration and repair service delivery of measurement and test equipment manufactured by various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
  • Provide customer-focused leadership for the products and teams supported.
  • Closely manage team performance to achieve or exceed defined customer commitments for Ship-on-Time, Turn Around Time and other key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Drive continuous improvement of operational process efficiencies to maximize gross margins.
  • Interpret customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • Manage internal processes to meet various international, regional and local standards including ISO 17025 and AS9100 quality requirements and other Keysight-defined technical and quality system requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent or 10 + years relevant technical experience required.
  • Have 5+ years’ experience managing a calibration and repair team for test and measurement equipment.
  • Have 5+ years’ experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating electronic precision measurement equipment and calibration standards.
  • Practical experience using test and measurement equipment and ability to solve complex problems requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of repair, calibration, metrology principles, repair and preventative maintenance techniques equipment and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, activities & deadlines successfully.
  • Detailed knowledge of metrology principles and measurement uncertainties.
  • Strong leadership skills biased toward communications, employee development, management-by-objectives, and building relationships across organizations.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating plans & objectives to a technical team.
  • Functional experience in Six Sigma projects to drive process improvements and efficiency gains
