Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent prior experience
- Successful completion of the required skills assessment
Responsibilities
- Perform weighments including chemical and raw materials
- Stage and deliver supplies, chemicals and components including caustics, acids, powders etc.
- Maintain chart recorders
- Perform equipment checks on powered vehicles
- Receive, store and distribute material, supplies and equipment
- Steam and dry heat sterilize assembled equipment in aseptic and controlled environments
- Assure temperature sensitive material does not exceed Time Out of Refrigeration
- Receive and Ship material
- Assist in training other employees
- Dispose of unusable material appropriately
- Maintains good housekeeping/organization and observes proper safety procedures
- Complies with cGMPs and area SOPs performs duties including
- Performs disinfection of items entering the aseptic core, or as required in other areas
- Completes all required log sheets, batch records, training rosters and other documentation as required
- Monitors equipment, components, flow of materials and to execution of some preventive maintenance task to ensure quality
- Performs sampling as required
- Interfaces with departmental computer systems and timely accurate transactions as necessary
- Makes recommendations regarding equipment, supplies, repairs needed, process and safety concerns to supervision
- Attends training sessions, as required, to maintain skills/knowledge of operations
- Adheres to Current Good Manufacturing Practices
- Performs good aseptic techniques where required
- Performs miscellaneous work requiring no special training to assist in production operations, including movement of equipment and supplies, running errands, etc.
- Coordinates activities required to manage inventory of supplies, components, and equipment to meet production schedules
- Ensures materials are organized, stored, segregated, and staged for production operations
- Attend and actively participates in HAZOPS, waste walkthroughs, kaizen events, or any other operations, lean six-sigma, quality, safety or environmental training/initiatives as required.
