Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Experience with DRP, MRP, or similar supply planning tools including GIM.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) to create and manage replenishment schedules for distribution centers and service branches.
  • Monitor and align supply planning activities with operational priorities and capacity constraints.
  • Establish safety stock levels and reorder points tailored to demand patterns and lead times at the DC and branch levels.
  • Communicate with service teams, distribution teams and material teams as needed regarding vendor updates and inventory availability.
  • Mitigate risks of overstock, understock, and obsolescence to maintain inventory health.
  • Partner with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of inventory for the DC and branch network.
  • Share demand forecasts to improve supplier collaboration and reduce variability in lead times.
  • Address disruptions or delays with contingency plans to maintain supply continuity.
  • Track fill rates, service levels, inventory turnover, and slow-moving stock trends.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve decision-making and supply chain performance.
  • Generate and share regular updates with stakeholders on supply plan effectiveness.
  • Align supply plans with material teams, procurement teams, operations team and distribution teams.
  • Proactively manage risks such as supplier delays, transportation disruptions, or unexpected demand spikes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
