Requirements
- Must have U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD secret security clearance
- Professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, leadership, or information systems
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
Responsibilities
- Sources and procures goods and services of a commodity nature from many suppliers.
- Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers
- Optimizing volume pricing through bid package strategies
- Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders
- Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources
- Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
