Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND one (1) year of supply chain planning experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND five (5) years of supply chain planning experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Responsibilities
- Owning specific planning, scheduling and procurement processes necessary to support manufacturing within the plant
- Procuring raw materials and inputs required for production
- Working closely with production operations teams to understand production impacts to the schedule and forecasts
- Utilizing Supply Chain tools, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and processes to make data-driven decisions to improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory
- Analyzing material flow data to make procurement, planning and scheduling decisions
- Implementing defined standard work to improve product flow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years of supply chain planning experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Pursuing or begin APICS certification process upon start of assignment
- Comfortable using Excel spreadsheets and word processing skills.
- Self-directed work ethic to perform duties.
- Ability to clearly communicate in oral/written form.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Microsoft, MS Cloud Apps (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, Power BI), SAP, Oracle, and SQL a plus
