Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Alternative combinations such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field
Responsibilities
- Research and identify small business suppliers across a variety of industries and categories to support Enterprise-wide supplier spend goals
- Foster relationships with suppliers and support them in navigating the procurement process at Cox
- Maintain the supplier database to ensure compliance with the company’s small business requirements
- Organize supplier programs training, events, and networking opportunities to connect suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Assist in the execution of supplier diversity strategies and goals in alignment with the company’s overall objectives
- Maintain relationships with supplier organizations, trade organizations, and advocacy groups
- Support the creation of supplier reports for stakeholders and senior leadership enterprise wide
- Perform other duties as requested
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and support diverse supplier communities
- Ability to manage project aspects assigned while handling multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to own tasks with minimal oversight and follow ups
